Place:The Shipping Forecast at Alexandra Palace- The Knitting and Stitching Show. 2024, The pandemic, health issues, continuing conflicts and social/economic difficulties has brought many changes to the world in which we now navigate.

Place: Shipping Forecast Installation has toured the four nations of the UK and was shown at the beautiful Sint-Anna-ten-Drieën church in Antwerp (summer 2022) through the organisation vzw ANNA3. The exhibition created its own relationship to place in each of the venues it has been installed. In 2026 it was at St Mary’s Burham alongside Rosie James Crowd Cloud over the Summer Solstice weekend which also marked World Refugee Day Saturday 20th June .

‘Time Flies’ (featured below in Somerset Life Magazine) is on exhibition with Art Textiles Made in Britain which continues its exhibition tour starting at  Mandell’s Gallery. Norwich April 25-May 23. before finishing at Queen Street Gallery Neath 5-25th September.

The Mote Park Art Competition is back for 2026 and once again Maidstone Borough Council are inviting you to submit your best artworks that capture this special park

I am delighted to have been invited as lead judge for this year’s theme is ‘Park Life‘. This could be anything from the wonderful diversity of wildlife in Mote Park, or how it’s used by people such as a family picnic or a large music festival.

We are grateful to Marathon Wealth Management for sponsoring the prizes again this year and we’ll be awarding in two categories:

– Over 18s Winner – £250; Runner up – £100
– Under 18s Winner – £100; Runner up – £50
